CTU Systems, based in North West England, have signed a contract with Tring a major Satellite and Television broadcaster in Albania.
CTU Systems is happy to announce the signing of the deal for our Eludo product. This will give the broadcaster a huge saving in their bandwidth usage. Tring have also signed a contract giving CTU Systems full access to all of Tring TV IPTV channels.
Joe Ibrahim, managing director of CTU Systems explains: “We are thrilled that our technology has been recognised in this way. We are just a small company in Chorley, Lancashire, and we are now ‘rubbing shoulders’ with large European broadcasters”. Mr Arber Doma, Sales Director from Tring TV, said CTU Systems’ Eludo system has proven a real winner in tests. The cooperation of both companies will give us a new platform to build on. CTU Systems can now have a platform to launch a new IPTV section selling Albanian TV around the world. It is very exciting for our team and everyone is supporting us.
Eludo is the first product of its type on the market to offer intelligent streaming for market sectors that need TV streaming with minimal broadband capacity. Unlike other systems on the market that have to continually steam their entire catalogue 24 hours a day, Eludo can sense whether or not someone is actually watching the TV service. It will immediately stream the programme on demand, and then cache it on the system, making it immediately available for other viewers, without any additional bandwidth requirement. This in effect makes Eludo like a mobile go anywhere CDN.
