It is a market-leading expert in receiving, processing, forecasting and delivering raw materials and manufacturing components to supply its customers’ production lines (in-bound logistics) and also in supplying its customers’ mobile engineers or end users with spare parts to repair and maintain their existing equipment (aftermarket logistics).
Some of the TVS customers include Dennis Eagle, Optare, JCB, Isuzu, The Ministry of Defence, Diageo and Molson Coors.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions operates from six locations across the UK, plus a number of facilities across Europe, Asia and the USA.

The purpose-built head office and 268,000 sq ft warehouse is based on Buckshaw Avenue in Chorley where it moved to in 2007. Prior to this the company was based on Pilling Lane in Chorley – the home of Leyland Motors with a 100 year history dating back to 1896 at the Lancashire Steam Traction Company.  It became part of the TVS family in 2012 and was renamed TVS Supply Chain Solutions.

Why we chose Chorley

Logistics forms a key part of the company’s business and the excellent transport links via the M61, M6 and M65 help to maintain the highest service levels to its customers.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions has ambitious expansion plans to grow its offering to clients across the UK. This means it’s constantly on the lookout for talented people who demonstrate the right skills and positive attitude.

The company’s aim is always to recruit locally and the recent new build housing developments on Buckshaw Village and the surrounding area has attracted new people to the area which creates a greater pool of potential employees.
Being based in Chorley has also enabled the company to foster good working relationships with Holy Cross High School, Runshaw College and the University of Central Lancashire.
TVS Supply Chain Solutions is an equal opportunities employer and offering highly sought-after work placements for students.

These close ties in the local community have enabled the company to provide training, advice and support to young people as they progress through their chosen career.
In addition, corporate social responsibility is something taken very seriously at TVS Supply Chain Solutions therefore its always keen to get involved in community projects.

Chorley Council has helped the company develop on-going relationships with a host of local businesses through its regular business networking events and this is something TVS Supply Chain Solutions is keen to maintain and enhance moving forward.
